    Who can swim the farthest underwater in one breath? Mark distances along the pool bottom. Official attempts only – no hyperventilating!

    What you need: Water balloons, lots of them

    Teams on opposite sides of the pool deck. Throw water balloons. Hit = you’re out. Last team standing wins. Bonus: anyone can jump in pool to avoid a balloon.

    Players: 4+ (pairs)
    What you need: Water balloons

    Classic game. Partners start close, toss balloon back and forth, step back after each catch. Broken balloon = out.

    Players: 6+
    What you need: Water guns, refill stations

    Capture the flag meets water guns. Flag is a beach towel or floaty. Soak opponents to “tag” them out.

    24. Sponge Bucket Relay

    Players: 6+
    What you need: Buckets, sponges

    Teams race to transfer water from pool to bucket using only sponges. Most water in bucket after 3 minutes wins.


    🎪 Pool Party Challenges

    25. Greased Watermelon

    Players: 8+
    What you need: Watermelon, petroleum jelly

    Classic camp game. Cover watermelon in petroleum jelly. Throw in pool. Teams try to push/carry it to their side. Chaos ensues.

    26. Treasure Hunt

    Players: 4+
    What you need: Dive sticks or coins

    Scatter weighted objects on pool bottom. First to collect most wins. Variations:

  • Blindfolded hunt (someone guides you verbally)

    What you need: Pool noodle or broom

    Classic limbo poolside. Loser gets pushed in the pool.

    31. Hot Potato Splash

    Players: 6+
    What you need: Beach ball, music

    Pass the beach ball when music plays. When it stops, whoever’s holding it gets pushed in (or jumps in if already wet).

    Players: 4+
