The bass is pumping, the lights are flashing, and the energy is
electric. Music festivals and EDM shows are the ultimate social
experience, but sometimes you want to bring that rave energy home.
Whether you’re pregaming for Coachella or hosting a “Couchchella” stream
party, these EDM drinking games will keep the vibes high.

Core Rules: The “Beat Drop”
Basics

These rules apply to any EDM set or playlist:

1. The Drop Sip: Every time the bass drops, everyone
   takes a sip.
2. The Build-Up Gulp: During a build-up (the rising
   synth or drum roll), everyone must keep drinking until the drop
   hits.
3. The DJ Shoutout: Every time the DJ shouts “1, 2, 3,
   JUMP!” or “How you feeling [City Name]?”, everyone takes a sip.
4. The Remix Rule: If you recognize the original song
   being remixed, you get to assign a sip to someone else.

The Rave Games

1. Kandi Swap Challenge

• The Game: Every time a new artist starts their set,
  everyone swaps a piece of Kandi (beaded bracelets).
• The Twist: If you don’t have any Kandi left to
  swap, you owe a “neon dare” (see below).

2. The Visualizer Drink

• The Game: Pick a color in the stage visuals (e.g.,
  Pink). Every time that color becomes the dominant screen color, your
  team drinks.

3. PLUR Dares (Adult Edition)

• Peace: Find the person you’ve known the shortest
  amount of time and give them a genuine compliment.
• Love: Group hug for 10 seconds.
• Unity: Everyone must dance in perfect sync for one
  full minute.
• Respect: Toast to the DJ for a legendary set.

Neon Dares (The Consequences)

If you lose a challenge or miss a drop, pick a dare:

• The Glow Up: Apply a fresh layer of neon face paint
  or glitter.
• The Shuffle: Perform your best 15-second shuffle
  (or attempt to).
• The LED Mime: Mime your favorite instrument (drums,
  synth, or decks) for 30 seconds.
• The Fan Clack: (If you have a fan) Perform a
  dramatic “clack” and a pose.
